About Maria

Maria's blessed life of just 559 days ended on March 26, 2019 at University of Minnesota Masonic Childrens Hospital in Minneapolis after a tough courageous battle with a blood related disorder called Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS). After months of treatment at multiple hospitals and a bone marrow transplant, she passed away because of the acute respiratory failure in the pediatric intensive care unit. May her soul in heaven rest in peace.
A private funeral was held on March 27, 2019 incoordination with Miller Funeral Home at Anjuman-e-Asghari in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. Interment was in Mound Cemetery of Brooklyn Center.
